Our vision is to build a holistic ministry to God's honor and glory, to evangelize, to teach and to preach the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord. We will build a house of prayer to serve as a Christian family life resource center that will provide training for our children, confort and hope for our elderly and faith and spiritual development for all people of the community.

We will build a community of faith where Christ is our center, the Holy Spirit is our covering and love is our resolve. We will build a congregation of faithful servants whose joy will be in serving God's people -- feeding, clothing, healing, comforting, loving and visiting those in need.
  OUR VISION
                                       OUR FOCUS
"To keep our eyes on Jesus -- the way, the truth, and the life."

                                     OUR MISSION
To pro-actively reach out to the people of the community in the example of Jesus Christ our Lord. To touch, heal, comfort and lead them to God's salvation through Jesus Christ. We believe the Church, which is the "Body of Christ," should work diligently to become a living part of the community -- not a structure of concrete and mortar.

                                   OUR PURPOSE
To provide moral and ethical training and leadership through a Christian curriculum that will address the spiritual and social needs of the people at a grass root level with a strong focus on family enrichment. The ministries and programs of our church are developed on the moral and ethical principles found in God's Holy Word and not denominational doctrines. Through this process, we will serve the people and assist in improving the quality of life of our community.

Fifteenth Church & Pastoral Anniversary

Celebrating 15 Years of Pastoral Ministry
Reverend Dr. Harrison E. Benton, Jr.
Founder/Senior Pastor
This 15th. Anniversary celebration is a milestone for our church, my pastoral ministry and the ministry of our Associate Pastor, Rev. Edith Robinson. We thank God for sending us such a faithful and dedicated servant whose outstanding ministry contributions have been felt by our congregation and community. Rev. Robinson has supported this ministry through its ups and downs and we praise God for her loyalty and commitment to the work at Word of Life, now New Creation AME Church for fifteen years.

We also thank God for sending us Rev. Charlotte Ritchie. She has been a major blessing as our Youth/Young Adults Minister. Her sincere devotion and commitment to serve the people of God has had a tremendous impact on the seccess of our ministry.

As the Founder and Senior Pastor of New Creation AME Church, my wife and I have been greatly blessed by this opportunity to serve God's people. We are committed to the vision God has given us -- "to build a holistic ministry to God's honor and glory, to evangelize, to teach, and to preach the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord."

We will continue to be a church that is Christ centered, Holy Spirit directed and clothed in God's love. Our theme for our 15th. year of service is: "Embracing the Precepts of God for the Kingdom of Heaven". Therefore we, His servants will do the work of evangelists -- We will speak the Word of Truth that bring dry bones to life. We will reap souls for the Kingdom of God.

We pray the blessings of the Most High God upon each of our members, friends and those in the Community of Faith in which we have been called to serve. Have a Blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Yours in Christ,
Pastor & Mrs. Harrison E. Benton, Jr.
